Job summary

Dauch is seeking a Material Handler to support the Materials Specialist Team Leader in North Vernon, Indiana. This role ensures smooth customer production shipments by coordinating receipt, handling, packaging, and storage of materials, including OK to SHIP goods and related documentation.

Responsibilities include maintaining dock audit records, labeling accuracy, and contributing to PPAP processes. High school diploma or GED is required, with prior logistics experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in material handling or shipping/logistics preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret shipping documents.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement customer production shipments.
• Receive, handle, package, preserve, and store customer-supplied dunnage, raw materials, tooling, and mail packages.
• Manage packaging, preservation, and storage of OK to SHIP products and associated shipping/receiving documents.
• Maintain dock audit records for packaging and bar-code labeling for OK to SHIP and PPAP products.
• Indirectly coordinate which product is Final Audited.
