Job summary

Goodwill Kentucky is seeking a high-energy Material Handler to support our retail store operations in Nicholasville. This role centers on delivering excellent customer service while upholding our mission and values.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, aiding donations, stocking shelves, and ensuring a clean and welcoming store space for customers. The position is full-time with an afternoon-evening shift (1:00pm–9:30pm) and operation hours from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM daily.

Qualifications

• No formal education required
• 1 year of production experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist donors or Goodswill transportation staff with unloading donations from donor vehicles or store trucks using rolling carts or dollies
• Provide excellent customer service to maintain a positive shopping experience
• Perform basic housekeeping to keep store and donation area clean
• Follow all company policies and procedures

$13.00/ hour

Shift B: 1:00pm – 9:30pm Five 8hr days

Hours Of Operation

Monday-Sunday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM

Essential Duties And Tasks

• Assist each donor or Goodwill transportation staff with unloading donations from donor vehicles or store trucks using rolling carts or dollies, as necessary.
• Maintains a positive shopping experience by providing excellent customer service.
• Perform basic housekeeping duties to keep cleanliness of the store and donation area.
• Follows all Company policies and procedures.

Education And Experience

• No education
• 1 year of production experience preferred

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift/carry 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store.
