Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Warehouse Technician in Minnesota to operate forklifts and move parts, ensuring accurate inventory and timely availability for production. You will load/unload, pull components, and maintain safety and organization in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate forklifts to dump chip hoppers, load and unload trucks.
  • Move parts and update location data in the computer.
  • Pull components for production (WIP) and final assembly.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and know inventory locations.
  • Ensure inventory items are available when needed.
  • Transport parts and materials between locations as needed.
  • Receive finished goods from production and transport to shipping department.
  • Assist with other job functions (paint, assembly) as needed.
  • Maintain a clean work area and assist in housekeeping.
  • Comply with Safety Procedures and Company Policies

Your responsibilities
  • Safely operate forklifts to dump chip hoppers, load and unload trucks, etc.
  • Move parts and updates the location data in the computer.
  • Pull components for production (WIP) and final assembly.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and knowledge of inventory locations.
  • Ensure that inventory items are available when needed.
  • Transport parts and materials between locations and departments as needed and in accordance with product router tickets.
  • Receive finished goods from production and transport to shipping department.
  • Assist with other job functions (paint, assembly, etc) as needed.
  • Maintain a clean work area and assist in departmental housekeeping.
  • Comply with Safety Procedures and Company Policies

Physical Demands/Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to hear and speak. The employee must regularly stand, walk, sit and use hands to grasp and handle. The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 40 lbs. The employee will regularly bend, stoop, and stretch handling parts/objects in various situations. Specific vision requirements include close vision, ability to focus, and depth perception. This position may be exposed to oils, dirt, fumes and moving equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
