Job summary

Med-National Staffing Inc. is seeking a Material Handler I in Milwaukee, WI for a full-time contract role supporting warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and timely receiving, processing, and shipping.

The position requires strong attention to detail, ability to work independently and in a team, and willingness to obtain forklift certification. You will help maintain a safe, organized warehouse and communicate status with management.

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • High School Diploma/GED or at least one year of related warehouse or material handling experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle materials throughout the workday.
  • Experience with automated warehouse systems.
  • Experience using Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
  • Ability to obtain Forklift Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Pick, package, and prepare materials for shipment while preventing damage during transit.
  • Receive, sort, and organize incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and track material movement throughout the warehouse.
  • Count inventory and verify compliance with company standards.
  • Prepare bills of lading, shipping documentation, and delivery paperwork.
  • Support the picking process by preparing picking fixtures and staging materials.
  • Perform routine safety inspections and internal audits of materials and processes.
  • Identify and locate parts within the warehouse efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Communicate shipment status and inventory updates with management.

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Job Type: Full-Time Contract

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

Pay: $18.00 per hour

What You'll Do
