Job summary

KLA Milpitas, a global leader in diversified electronics for semiconductor manufacturing, is seeking a Senior Material Handler to manage inventory and shipments in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires hands-on experience with SAP, cycle counts, and close collaboration with Manufacturing and Shipping teams to ensure material availability and accuracy. Excellent attention to detail is essential, along with safe material handling practices.

Qualifications

  • Experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or material handling.
  • Proficiency with SAP inventory, shipping, and receiving transactions.
  • Microsoft Excel data analysis and manipulation skills.
  • Strong data entry and 10-key skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily inventory control activities, including cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
  • Analyze inventory trends, investigate variances, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through transactions in inventory management systems.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Planning, Purchasing, Shipping, and Receiving to resolve issues.
  • Process incoming/outgoing shipments with accurate part numbers and quantities.
  • Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks to move materials safely.
  • Support production by pulling, staging, and delivering materials while maintaining accuracy.
  • Generate and analyze SAP reports to monitor inventory performance.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
  • Senior Material Handler
  • Perform daily inventory control activities, including cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliation of discrepancies to ensure high levels of inventory accuracy.
  • Analyze inventory trends, investigate root causes of variances, and recommend corrective and preventive actions to improve inventory performance.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records through timely and precise transactions within inventory management systems.
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Planning, Purchasing, Shipping, and Receiving teams to resolve inventory issues, locate missing materials, and correct delivery discrepancies.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for inventory-related inquiries, providing exceptional support to internal customers and collaborating with technical support teams as needed.
  • Verify, document, and process incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy of quantities, part numbers, and shipping documentation.
  • Inspect outbound shipments to ensure materials are packaged and shipped according to company and customer requirements.
  • Operate material handling equipment, including hand trucks and pallet jacks, to transport materials safely between receiving, storage, and production areas.
  • Support production operations by pulling, staging, and delivering materials to manufacturing areas while maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Process inventory transactions, shipping activities, and material movements through SAP and other inventory management systems.
  • Generate and analyze SAP reports to monitor inventory performance, identify discrepancies, and support operational decision-making.
  • Perform accurate data entry and maintain detailed records in support of inventory, shipping, and receiving operations.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills while working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and commitment to quality in all inventory and material handling activities.
  • Safely lift, move, and transport materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of proven experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or material handling.
  • Experience with SAP inventory, shipping, and receiving transactions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and manipulation.
  • Strong data entry and 10-key skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of inventory control processes, cycle counting, and material flow in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work, identify process improvements, and work independently with minimal direction.
Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma

Base Pay Range: $20.34 - $34.57 Per Hour

Primary Location: USA-CA-Milpitas-KLA
