Job summary

Staffmark is hiring a Material Handler in Memphis, TN. This first shift runs Monday through Thursday, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM, with a pay rate of $15.00 per hour. You will move, organize, and inspect materials to keep warehouse operations flowing and inventory accurate.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and prior warehouse experience, a strong eye for detail, and the ability to follow safety procedures. Staffmark offers competitive benefits and a path for career growth.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.


• Previous warehouse or material handling training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Experience moving, organizing, loading, or unloading materials in warehouse or manufacturing environments.


• Ability to accurately identify products, labels, inventory locations, and shipping documentation.


• Knowledge of safe material handling practices and workplace safety procedures.


• Strong attention to detail, organization, and dependable work habits.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution experience is preferred.


• Knowledge of inventory control procedures, warehouse documentation, or Lean warehouse practices is considered an asset.


• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, teamwork, attention to detail, and safe work habits are well positioned for success as a Material Handler.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive material handling tasks throughout the shift.


• Ability to safely move products using manual or powered material handling equipment.


• Ability to work efficiently in warehouse or manufacturing environments while following established safety procedures.
