Responsibilities include tracking shipping numbers, inspections of deliveries, maintaining accurate counts, and collaborating with the Shipping Supervisor and Plant Manager to optimize warehouse efficiency. A forklift license and 3+ years in related work are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adequate supply of inventory to meet daily production and shipping needs.
• Position raw inventory to correct production locations and fulfill orders timely.
• Track and record shipping numbers, BOLs, work orders, and receipt postings.
• Inspect deliveries and manage logistics for inbound/outbound shipments.
• Collaborate with Shipping Supervisor, Logistics Director, and Plant Manager.
• Assist with audits of raw and finished goods and reassign locations as needed.

Material Handler

Full Time Memphis, TN, US

Salary Range: $18.00 To $20.00 Hourly

• MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
• Ensure adequate supply of inventory is regularly positioned to meet daily production and shipping needs.
• Supply timely placement of raw inventory to correct production locations.
• Executes Order fulfillment (Picklist) requests timely & accurately.
• Strong focus on loading/unloading; inbound & outbound daily shipping requirements.
• KEY AREAS OF ACTIVITY AND RESPONSIBILITY
• Tracks and records daily shipping numbers, actual BOLs shipped, work orders, product invoices, and receipt of goods and materials received posting results to computerized record systems to assure accuracy.
• Monitors daily shipping and receiving activities of warehouses, inspects all deliveries received, and ensures proper logistics and distribution of all products and materials.
• Manages accurate inventory counts are picked for loadout and positioned for production and picked for loadout in a timely manner.
• Collaborates with the Shipping Supervisor Logistics Director, and Plant Manager to maintain required efficiencies; moving product and materials throughout the production floor and resolves discrepancies.
• Partners with Shipping Supervisor aligning the daily activities; ensuring adequate space is available on the production floor and reassigns inventory locations, as needed.
• Assists Shipping Supervisor and other with any audits of raw and finished goods checks.
• Performs other duties or responsibilities, as assigned.

• SKILLS NEEDED
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in related field.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Extensive experience in Material Handling, inventory control, warehousing, and computer applications.
• Maintains a current forklift license .
• Self-starter; able to work in an independent manner.
• Ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization and achieve cultural change in the face of potential resistance.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to train all levels of the organization, across all shifts of operation.
• MEASUREMENT

Primary measures of successful performance will be:

• Inventory production lines properly maintained to ensure high daily manufacturing efficiencies.
• Ontime loadout of outbound carriers ensuring accurate and efficient departure of PANDROL product; with minimal delays.
• Raw Material Goods management; handle accurate/efficient shipping, receiving and storage of product.
