Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Manchester, CT is seeking a materials handler to manage inventory locations, pick and route parts, and ensure accurate, timely paperwork. The role requires forklift certification or the ability to obtain it, strong Math and counting skills, and a commitment to safety.

ITAR-related eligibility applies to this position. The job is full-time and on-site, with responsibilities including cycle counts, warehousing tasks, and coordinating with departments to resolve shortages

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Basic computer skills with performing inventory transactions.
• Previous forklift certification a plus or the ability to complete approved forklift certification program.
• Solid math and counting skills with emphasis on consistency and accuracy.
• Safety awareness.

• Export-Controlled Data This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items

Responsibilities

Assign inventory locations to parts, as well as delivering job orders
