Job Description

The Material Handler is responsible for receiving, put away, picking, and consolidating all materials entering the stockroom.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving shipments and signing paperwork upon receipt
• Unloading packages from trucks
• Inspecting contents for damage
• Verifying packages against orders and invoices
• Labeling deliveries and assigning storage locations
• Maintaining accurate records and assisting with inventory control
• Cycle counting and verifying parts
• Picking, auditing, and delivering jobs to production
• Working with Bills of Material
• Completing computer transactions
• Filling stock requisitions

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
• Component knowledge
• Ability to lift heavy items
• Self-motivated and good attendance
• Basic computer skills are helpful
• Physical ability to walk, bend, stand, sit, and lift
• Experience in electronic manufacturing is advantageous
• 6 months to 2 years of stockroom experience
