Job summary

Fives Intralogistics is seeking a reliable Material Movement and Order Picker to support internal assembly operations and customer orders. The role requires attention to detail and a sense of urgency to ensure accurate, timely fulfillment.

The position reports to the Logistics Supervisor and operates in a 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. shift, Monday through Friday, in Louisville, Kentucky. Prior forklift experience will be an asset in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous order picker or material handler experience preferred.
• Experience operating material handling equipment (forklift/hand truck).
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, drawings/prints, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently pick materials and parts for internal assembly operations and customer orders using pick lists.
• Verify order fulfillment accuracy by comparing pick list documents to materials in a box or on a skid.
• Package parts to meet customer requirements with boxes, labels and packing materials.
• Operate forklift or other material handling equipment in and around warehouse.
• Follow company safety rules and work instructions; perform duties per department procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Attention to Detail and Sense of Urgency are critical soft skills necessary for success in this position.

• Operate forklift or other material handling equipment in and around warehouse

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Previous work experience as an order picker or material handler
• Previous experience operating material handling equipment, i.e. forklift, hand truck
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, drawings/prints, and procedure manuals.
• Critical Soft Skills: Detail-Oriented, Sense of Urgency, Effectiveness in Pressure Situations
