Job summary

Elopak in Little Rock, AR is seeking motivated Material Handlers/Warehouse Associates for our climate-controlled, state-of-the-art facility. You will move freight and material to production areas, operate lift equipment, and ensure accurate, timely, and safe handling of stock.

We offer competitive pay starting at $21/hour, 120 PTO hours, 13 holidays, 401k match up to 4%, shift premiums up to $2/hr, and comprehensive training in a fully air-conditioned plant.

Qualifications

• Health and safety mindset.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Experience operating different types of lift trucks.
• Versatile and quick learner.
• Basic mathematic skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; SAP a plus.
• Be organized and rigorous.
• Able to work 12-hour shifts, 7 days (every other weekend).
• Good reading and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Move freight and materials to storage or production areas using hands or lifting devices.
• Read work orders and bring material to production areas promptly.
• Supply pallets and cartons to sealers and presses.
• Load and unload trucks; store material appropriately.
• Use RF scanners for storage/ retrieval tasks.
• Complete documents related to shipping and receiving.
• Inspect incoming shipments for damage and verify documents.
• Prepare bills of lading and record quantities shipped.
• Other duties as assigned.

We produce sustainable packaging solutions for our customers and are looking for several team players to join the pack for our new climate controlled, state-of-the-art facility.

Material Handlers/ Warehouse associates are responsible for the accurate, timely and safe handling of incoming and outgoing stocks and materials. They operate forklift, clamp truck, pallet jacks or any other lifting and carrying devices to collect and place specific material into designated locations.

• Must be available to work on 12 hours shifts covering 7 days (1 weekend every second week).

• Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, or containers, by hand or using trucks, or other lifting devices.
• Read work orders and bring material to production areas in a timely manner.
• Supply pallets and cartons to sealers and presses.
• Load and unload trucks, store material in the appropriate location.
• Use RF scanning devices for scanning of storage and retrieval transactions.
• Complete all documents related to shipping and/or receiving tasks.
• Inspect incoming shipments and material for damage and defects.
• Verify receiving and shipping documents are accurate.
• Prepare bills of lading for carriers, indicating product name and quantity shipped.
• Use labels to calculate quantities shipped and record them on the load.
