Clair Global is seeking a Material Handler to support the manufacturing facility by counting, inspecting, and storing materials, and moving them to production areas to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory, conducting cycle counts, and assisting with shipping and receiving while upholding safety and organized work areas in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Ability to lift heavy objects.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately maintain inventory records in the ERP system.
• Conduct routine cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
• Transport materials between storage areas and production areas; document movements and inventory adjustments.
• Ensure continuous material availability to prevent production delays.
• Communicate material shortages, overages, and issues to supervisors.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and warehouse teams to maintain smooth material flow.
• Keep storage areas and workstations organized and safe.
• Follow safety policies and properly handle hazardous materials when applicable.
• Assist during peak periods or staffing shortages.

Clair Global Product is growing and is looking to add a Material Handler to their team. The Material Handler plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials throughout the manufacturing facility. They are responsible for counting, inspecting, and storing materials, transporting them throughout the facility, and ensuring that workstations are adequately stocked to meet production needs. By maintaining accurate inventory records, performing routine counts, and assisting with shipping and receiving operations, the Material Handler helps to minimize production delays and ensure timely delivery of finished products to customers. Their attention to safety and proper equipment handling also contributes to maintaining a safe and organized work environment, supporting the overall productivity and operational success of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Forklift certification or willingness to become certified

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and adapt to shifting priorities

Experience

• Previous experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or a similar role is preferred
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic shipping and receiving practices is advantageous

• Ensure continuous material availability to prevent production delays
• Communicate material shortages, overages, and other issues to supervisors
• Work closely with production, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth material flow
• Keep storage areas, workstations, and warehouses organized and free of hazards
• Follow company safety policies and ensure proper handling of hazardous materials when applicable.
• Assist other departments during peak periods or staffing shortages as needed
