Job summary

Goodwill Kentucky is seeking a high-energy Material Handler to support our Lexington store operations. You will assist donors and transportation staff, help unload donations, and ensure a clean, welcoming donation and shopping space with strong customer service.

This full-time role offers $13.00 per hour, a seven-day schedule from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and benefits including a 403(b) plan, tuition reimbursement, paid holidays, and disability/life insurance.

Qualifications

• 1 year of production experience preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Able to stand, walk, reach, bend for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Assist donors and Goodwill transportation staff unloading donations from donor vehicles or store trucks
• Maintain a positive shopping experience by providing excellent customer service

Job Type: Full-time

Monday-Sunday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM

Essential Duties and Tasks:

• Assist each donor or Goodwill transportation staff with unloading donations from donor vehicles or store trucks using rolling carts or dollies, as necessary.
• Maintains a positive shopping experience by providing excellent customer service.
• Perform basic housekeeping duties to keep cleanliness of the store and donation area.
• Follows all Company policies and procedures.

Education and Experience:

• 1 year of production experience preferred

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift/carry 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store.
