Job summary

Valley Craft Industries is hiring a Material Handler and Machine Operator to safely move, store, and track materials and finished goods. You will operate turret presses and bending machines, transitioning between tasks based on daily production needs while maintaining quality.

You will work first shift, with training across departments, handling inventories, inspections, and basic equipment maintenance in a safety-focused, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of manufacturing experience.
• 1+ years forklift experience; forklift certification preferred.
• Ability to read work instructions, diagrams, and production paperwork.
• Comfortable with hand tools, power tools, and production equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Willingness to learn multiple jobs and float between departments.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Read production paperwork, diagrams, and specifications.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Support teammates and move between departments as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Deliver raw materials to production areas and remove finished goods.
• Move materials between warehouse, loading docks, and manufacturing areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand.
• Perform inventory counts and update inventory systems for accuracy.
• Perform daily inspections and maintenance on forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Operate manufacturing equipment including turret and bending machines.
• Monitor output and adjust machine settings to maintain quality.
• Visually inspect parts or use measuring tools and fixtures.

Position Summary

Our Material Handler and Machine Operator will play a key role in producing Valley Craft’s metal products by being responsible for safely moving, storing, and tracking materials and product. You will alsooperateand monitor manufacturing equipment such as turret presses and bending machines.

You will be trained to work in several areas and move between them based on daily production needs.

Hours

1st shift: Monday through Thursday 5 am - 3:30 pm (OT as needed)

WhatYou’llDo

Depending on daily needs, you may be assigned to:

Material Handling -

• Deliver raw materials to production areas and remove finished goods

Physical Requirements
