Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paints Company is hiring a Material Handler at the Huron, OH Plant to receive, ship, and move raw materials, packaging, and finished goods within the facility.

This is a 2nd shift from 3PM to 11PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime during peak season. Onsite work; forklift and SAP experience preferred; must be 18+ with a High School Diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn SAP systems.

Responsibilities

• Move finished goods from production line to shipping or warehouse storage.
• Receive and put away inventory using SAP processes.
• Load/unload trucks and support production material flow.
• Operate forklifts, and automated packaging equipment.
• Inspect product for defects and ensure quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records using RF scanners and computer systems.
• Stage materials and keep filling lines stocked.
• Maintain clean work area and perform basic equipment checks.

ThePittsburgh Paints Companyis seeking aMaterial Handlerresponsible for receiving, shipping, and handling raw materials, packaging, and finished goods as they enter or leave the facility, including transfers within the site.

Pay is $19.52 phr with 2.00 dollar shift differential.

You will work onsite at the Huron, Ohio Plant on a 2nd Shift from 3PM to 11PM Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime will be required during peak season.

Key Responsibilities

• Move finished goods from production line to shipping or warehouse storage

Requirements

• Ability tolift upto 50 lbs.frequentlyand 80 lbs. occasionally
• Ability to wear required PPE and follow safety procedures
• Strong teamwork and attention to detail

Equipment Used

Forklifts, robotic palletizers, conveyors, RF scanners, and general warehouse equipment.
