Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Audubon, Iowa

Shift: M-F 7:00am – 3:30pm

We’re looking for a dedicated Material Handler to join our team at TNT Industries Inc., a leader in refrigeration refabrication manufacturing. As a Material Handler – Packing Specialist, you’ll be a key player in maintaining the flow of materials and ensuring that finished products are packed and ready for shipment.

What You’ll Do

• Handle Materials: Safely and efficiently move raw materials, products, and supplies within the production area. You’ll use hand trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks to move materials to the packing stations, ensuring nothing is left behind.
• Packing & Organizing: Carefully pack finished products into boxes or other containers, ensuring the highest level of quality and presentation. You’ll follow specific packing guidelines, ensuring that products are protected during shipment and reach our customers in perfect condition.
• Quality Control: Perform visual inspections to ensure that products meet company standards before they are packed. If you see something, say something – we rely on you to identify and report defects or issues.
• Inventory Management: Assist in keeping track of inventory levels for materials and packed goods. You’ll be responsible for reporting shortages, materials that need reordering, and making sure everything is stocked and ready to go when needed.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the packing area clean and organized, ensuring safety and efficiency. You’ll also follow all housekeeping protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Collaborate: Work closely with production and shipping teams to ensure materials and products are moved in and out of the warehouse according to schedule. You’ll be a key part of ensuring everything is on time and running smoothly.

• Experienced with Equipment: You know your way around material handling equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. Safety is a priority, and you’re familiar with safety protocols for operating these machines.
