Job summary

St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart, IN, seeks a full-time Storeroom and Receiving associate to join our logistics team. You will handle inbound stock, rotate inventory, pull and deliver supplies, and prepare items for departments across the hospital.

Under supervision, you will maintain par levels, process mail, ship/receive equipment, and record transactions either on paper or electronically. The role includes day, evening, and night shifts with a steady on-site schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a fast-paced environment using inventory processes to control equipment and supplies.
• Computer knowledge is required.

Responsibilities

Under general supervision and in accordance with established policies and procedures, puts inbound stock away, rotates stock, pulls and delivers supplies, applies patient charge stickers as required, delivers special orders from the receiving dock to departments, performs housekeeping duties within the department and in those areas throughout the hospital as outlined, maintains par levels for those departments established, processes outbound mail, receives, maintains, and delivers supplies/equipment, picks up soiled equipment, and processes/cleans designated equipment.Maintainrecords as designated, either with paper or electronically through data entry into the computer system.

QUALIFICATIONS::

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience within the last three years in a fast pace environment using inventory processes to control equipment and supply, required.
• Computer knowledge:
• Past responsibility; keyboarding transactions and accessing item information, required.
