Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler to support daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced facility. You will move materials, operate hand trucks and scanners, and participate in packing, labeling, counting, and verification tasks.

The role requires basic math, the ability to read safety documents, and at least 1 year of warehouse experience. A flexible schedule and teamwork are valued in this position.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedural documents.
• 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Flexible schedule including possible overtime when needed.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

• To be at least 18 years of age
• The ability to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedural documents

It’d be great if you also have:

• 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including possible overtime when needed
• Experience using a handheld scanner
• Positive attitude and the ability to work in a team to achieve goals and objectives

This job requires the ability to:

• Lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 lbs.
• Stand, sit or walk for prolonged periods of time
• Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull
• Handle or manage tools or equipment
• Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
