Job summary

ThyssenKrupp Materials NA, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate to move raw materials, finished goods and equipment on the facility floor using a forklift and other handling tools. The role operates under supervision with focus on accuracy, safety, and compliance with ISO/6S initiatives.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks, picking, packing, cycle counts, and maintaining clean work areas. Applicants must have forklift experience and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and write English (Quebec: French) is noted.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs. for 100 feet.
• Ability to perform basic math skills.
• Previous forklift experience required.
• Must be able to sit for long periods and perform bending, twisting, squatting, reaching and grasping motions.
• Safety mindset and adherence to health, safety, ISO and 6S initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Move and stock product according to inventory plan.
• Select product to fill customer orders and pack them.
• Load and unload trucks; verify items loaded/unloaded.
• Pick, process and pack orders; may cut orders on Kaltenbach saw.
• Complete cycle counts and identify/hold defective material.
• Complete paperwork per work instructions; maintain clean work area.
• Inspect forklift at start of shift and report issues.
• Support health, safety, ISO and 6S initiatives; perform other duties as needed.

May also utilize cranes, hoists, hand trucks, and other moving equipment to meet job requirements. Performs work under direct supervision.
