Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Arizona is hiring a Material Handler for the 3rd shift (10:00pm – 6:00am, Mon-Fri). You will operate pallet jacks and other equipment, label, sort, and store materials, and pick and pack orders accurately. Expect lifting up to 50 lbs and standing most of the shift.

Pay is $18.75/hour plus a $1.00 shift premium, with additional incentives for full-time staff. Benefits include medical/dental/vision coverage after 30 days, PTO, 401(k) with company match, tuition reimbursement,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Six months warehouse experience preferred.
• Six months forklift operation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify the quantity, quality, labeling, and address with the customer’s order.
• Complete daily inspection of equipment.
• Assist in physical inventories.

• Safely operating pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
• Accurately labeling, sorting, and storing materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Picking and packing customer orders efficiently and accurately.
• Lifting materials or products by hand, up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable Walking and lifting during the whole shift.

Position: Material Handler

Shift: 3rd shift, 10:00pm – 6:00am, Monday-Friday

Pay: $18.75 per hour plus $1.00 shift premium

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, as this position requires standing for the majority of the shift (excluding breaks).

Role Purpose:

Responsible for operating powered equipment for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting product. Responsible for checking all inbound and outbound products. Ensures products are free of damage and infestation, product code dates are properly recorded and products match customer requirements.

Key Accountabilities:

• Physically load product onto equipment, pallets or totes more than 20% of specified shift.
• Put-away and pick product for shipment or stock. Insure the exact number and type of products, ordered by the customer, are checked and loaded correctly.
• Compare the quantity, quality, labeling, and address with the customer’s order to ensure outgoing product shipments are complete and correct.
• Changes equipment battery or LP tank and monitors power source as necessary.
• Verify and report discrepancies such as non-available products and OS&D.
• Maintain the facility and the facility’s equipment in a neat, clean, orderly fashion. Inspect all operated equipment daily.
• Complete daily inspection of equipment.
• Assist in physical inventories.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• Six months warehouse experience, preferred
• Six months forklift operation experience, prefer
