Job summary

Orange EV, a growing manufacturer of electric vehicles, seeks a Material Handler to support receiving, stocking, kitting, and shipping activities for production. The role requires basic warehouse knowledge, attention to detail, and willingness to cross-train across processes.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or equivalent and be comfortable working with equipment like forklifts and turret trucks in a non-temperature controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months knowledge of warehouse functions.
• Basic understanding of warehouse processes to support production.
• Willingness to cross-train in different warehouse processes or production.
• Must have good attention to detail to perform cycle counts as needed.
• Receives, moves/ locates, and packs outgoing materials, equipment, and other items from the warehouse.
• Report damages and inventory variances immediately.
• Loads and unloads materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles, manually or mechanically.
• Cleans and maintains supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Ability to work in a multi-temperature environment, Hot and Cold

Responsibilities

• Receive, stock, and kitting activities aligned with production needs.
• Cycle counting and inventory accuracy duties.
• Move and locate materials using equipment as needed.
• Pack and ship outgoing materials, ensuring proper documentation.
• Report damages and variances immediately to supervisor.
• Maintain clean and organized warehouse areas for safety compliance.
• Operate materials handling equipment according to safety procedures.
• Work in multi-temperature warehouse environments (hot and cold).

Position Qualifications

• Employees must abide by all safety protocols and utilize all required PPE
• Prefer candidate with experience utilizing various equipment including Sit down forklift, reach truck, and Turret truck. Candidates should not have an issue with going up to 30 ft. on equipment
• The ability to lift, up to 75 lbs. position requires standing, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, kneeling, and lifting for the entire duration of the shift.
• Work in a non-temperature regulated warehouse
