Summary : The M aterial Handler is responsible for the movement of product and inventory using various equipment like forklift, hand truck, and pallet jack .

Primary Tasks/Responsibilities

• Move product and inventory following FIFO inventory control system.


• Perform manual lifting, packaging, taping, and labeling operations.


• Complete appropriate shipping or movement documentation.


• Load and unload trucks and tanks.


• Accountable for accurate inventory counts .


• Properly inspect and verify paperwork, seals, and samples.


• Record data such as product, lot numbers, and quantities.


• Coordinate trash and recyclable removal.


• Proactively recognize and report safety issues.


• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.


• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.


• Adhere to all safety and security policies and procedures.


• Follow all food safety and quality system requirements by committing to meet all pertinent regulatory, customer and Safe Quality Foods (SQF) requirements.
