Job summary

Spur Industrial is seeking a dependable Material Handler to support our structural steel fabrication shop and yard operations. The role involves receiving, unloading, organizing, and staging steel and other materials, loading for deliveries, and operating forklifts in a busy shop and yard environment.

You will verify quantities and conditions, keep areas organized, and assist Production and Shipping/Receiving with material movement while maintaining a strong safety focus and teamwork spirit.

Qualifications

• Dependable, punctual and safety-minded.
• Forklift experience is preferred.
• Experience in steel fabrication, construction, manufacturing, warehouse, or shipping/receiving is a plus.
• Able to read basic measurements, material tags and shipping paperwork.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors around heavy equipment.
• Strong work ethic and team-first attitude.
