About the Role:

The Material Handler plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials within a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and products to support production schedules and customer orders. The Material Handler will operate various material handling equipment to move goods safely and efficiently throughout the facility. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential to maintain inventory accuracy and workplace safety. Ultimately, this role contributes to the seamless operation of the manufacturing process by ensuring materials are available where and when they are needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
• Basic knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret bar codes and inventory labels.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials safely.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Forklift certification or training.
• Familiarity with assembly line operations.

• Ability to work flexible hours including overtime.

Responsibilities:
