Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Chandler, AZ is seeking a General Warehouse Associate to perform picking, scanning, labeling, moving, staging, replenishing and stacking of products while adhering to safety and efficiency standards.

You will follow SOPs, inspect quantities, report damages, operate pallet jacks and other equipment, work with minimal supervision, and accommodate overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Process picking functions according to Standard Operating Procedures.
• Verify product and order compliance with quality standards using appropriate documentation.
• Report any damages or discrepancies.
• Stack, package, shrink wrap, and label products per SOP.
• Execute all safety protocols and perform tasks promoting safety.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the facility.
• Comply with Standard Operating Procedures, corporate and site-specific policies, safety rules, and OSHA/SDS standards.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently, following prescribed work methods.
• Report equipment problems and maintain equipment.
• Assist with building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned.
• Work overtime as dictated by business needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The General Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking, scanning, labeling, moving, staging, replenishing, and stacking product. The role involves counting and inspecting product, notifying leadership when there are damages or discrepancies, and ensuring safe and efficient operation of all equipment.

Picking Responsibilities

Minimum Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Ability to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse throughout the year.

Language Skills

• English (reading, writing, verbal).

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

• Basic to intermediate mathematical skills to verify quantities, count inventory, or perform other duties.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 months experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
• Current or prior material handling equipment (MHE) certification.

Physical Demands

• Occasional handling/fingering and sitting.
• Frequent bending.
• Constant walking, standing; lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling 21‑50 pounds; reach above shoulder or outward; squat or kneel.

Work Environment

The work area is rarely exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. Noise level is usually low to moderate.

Compensation

Base pay range: $22.00 – $24.00 Hourly. Compensation determined based on experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location following applicable laws and company policy.
