Responsibilities

Material Handler

City of Industry, CA

Compensation Includes:

  • Starting Pay Rate of $21.96 - 23.38/hour depending on experience

Available Shift:

  • 2nd

The Material Handler, under direct supervision, is responsible for successfully moving materials throughout the facility operating a forklift, including unloading raw materials and moving finished products to designated area. Will partner with Production Supervisor and Assistant Production Supervisor to ensure material needed is available at production area.

Responsibilities

  • Unload materials from trucks and relocate finished products to designated area
  • Work closely with Production Supervisor and Assistant Production Supervisor to coordinate with restocking of raw materials to each production line
  • Work behind production line to make sure product continually flows in the lines
  • Change materials for production line according to BOM
  • Maintain filters and work area clean
  • Ensures resin pumps are working properly
  • Operate forklift safely
  • May perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • At least one year experience in warehouse or distribution center; experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen
  • Commitment to an accident-free and drug-free workplace

  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
