Job summary

Lancesoft is seeking a Warehouse Packer for our Customer Orders department in Byhalia, MS. You will verify and apply stickers, process inbound and outbound materials, and use RF terminals to scan products.

The job requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 65 pounds, and following cGMP and safety procedures. Training and cross-functional teamwork are part of the role, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Must stand, talk and hear, use hands to handle materials or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance.
  • Lift and/or move up to 65 pounds; walk and perform repetitive tasks in a warehouse environment.
  • Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and health & safety procedures must be followed.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Verify and apply stickers for inbound and outbound processes.
  • Process hazardous materials in accordance with regulations.
  • Use a Radio Frequency Terminal / Scan gun to process product throughout the warehouse.
  • Complete pick/pack documents and packing lists; document inventory discrepancies.
  • Adhere to SOPs for damaged product handling; participate in safety, quality, service, and cost improvement projects.
  • Follow packaging and palletization requirements as specified by customer or country.
  • Complete training assignments on time and support other tasks as assigned.

Department: Customer Orders (Packer) Hours: 8: 00a-5: 00pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Verify and apply stickers for Inbound and Outbound Processes. Process hazardous materials in accordance with International Civil Aviation Regulations. Able to use a Radio Frequency Terminal / Scan gun to process product throughout warehouse. Required to use assigned individual security passwords Assure compliance to all procedures related to Regulatory, Environmental, Health and Safety Requirements (Including spills, damages, and returns). Process and stage damaged product in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP s). Must use correct pallets and packaging (as required by customer or country) to ship product. Participate in projects/teams to continuously improve the operation and key result areas (i.E., safety, quality, service and cost). Utilize Warehouse Computer Applications (WMS, RF Equipment) Performing other tasks, as assigned. Documentation Complete Pick/Pack documents for Freezer products and packing lists, as required. Document Inventory Discrepancies. Complete training assignments, on time.

Employees are regularly exposed to other moving Powered Industrial Equipment, extreme cold and extreme heat. All employees performing this job are responsible for maintaining Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Employees are required to perform all assigned duties and any additional tasks, including cross-training. This position requires that employees performing this job follow all Health and Safety procedures.

Education and/or Experience:

High School Diploma or GED Counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication & division with the assistance of a calculator. Ability to Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to read a limited number of two-and three syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences. Ability to work overtime, as necessary, scheduled, or unscheduled. Ability to understand temperature in Fahrenheit and Celsius. Preferred Good Manufacturing Practices Warehouse Management Systems Experience
