Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Belvidere, IL is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily operations by moving material and inventory throughout the facility. You will use hand trucks, conveyors, and other material handling equipment to verify orders, label products, and scan items.

You’ll adhere to the 7S program, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and work with a team to meet goals. Candidates should be at least 18, have basic math skills, read safety rules, and be able to lift up to 50

• To be at least 18 years of age.
• The ability to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedural documents.
• 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including possible overtime when needed.
• Experience using a handheld scanner.
• Positive attitude and the ability to work in a team to achieve goals and objectives.

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

To be at least 18 years of age

The ability to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator

It’d be great if you also have:

1 year of experience in a warehouse environment

Availability to work a flexible schedule, including possible overtime when needed

This job requires the ability to:

Lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 lbs.

Stand, sit or walk for prolonged periods of time
