Job summary

Interior Logic Group, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler to safely move, store, and organize stone slabs and related materials in our warehouse. You will support daily operations, maintain inventory integrity, and ensure timely delivery to installation teams.

The role requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to operate forklifts and material-handling equipment. Applicants should be able to lift up to 75 lbs and work with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 1 year of material handling or warehouse experience.
• Experience moving and storing stone slabs or large-format materials.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, A-frame dollies.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, unload, and transport slabs and materials using forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials per procedures.
• Prepare and stage materials for production or delivery.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
• Keep warehouse and yard clean and compliant with safety standards.
• Follow PPE and equipment operation procedures at all times.
• Collaborate with teams to support material flow and deadlines.

The Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, organization, and storage of materials within the warehouse. This role supports daily operations by accurately handling stone slabs, remnants, and related products while maintaining inventory integrity and adhering to safety standards. Attention to detail, situational awareness, and a strong commitment to safety are essential to ensure materials are handled properly and delivered on schedule to support operational success.

Essential Responsibilities

• Safely load, unload, and transport slabs, remnants, and other materials using forklifts, slab handlers, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
• Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming materials in accordance with company standards and product-handling procedures.
• Prepare and stage materials for production, fabrication, or delivery to installation teams.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, assisting with regular cycle counts and material audits.
• Handle materials carefully to prevent damage to high-value and fragile products.
• Ensure the warehouse and yard remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Follow all safety regulations, PPE requirements, and equipment operation procedures at all times.
• Collaborate with warehouse, fabrication, and logistics teams to support efficient material flow and project deadlines.

Experience

Required

• Minimum 1 year of experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or a related field.
• Experience moving, storing, and handling stone slabs, remnants, or large-format materials required.
• Proven ability to safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, A-frame dollies, and material handling tools.

Preferred

• Experience working in manufacturing, stone fabrication, or distribution environments.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.

Skills & Abilities

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in material tracking and movement.
• Proficient in operating slab-handling equipment and warehouse machinery.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs, work on your feet for extended periods, and safely maneuver heavy materials.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate effectively with other departments.
