Job summary

Ducommun, Inc. in Appleton, WI seeks a motivated Material Handler to support manufacturing through receiving, inspecting, and delivering materials, maintaining inventory, and ensuring FIFO.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• US Person authorization to meet ITAR / EAR requirements.
• Quality oriented with attention to detail.
• Excellent hand/eye coordination.
• Ability to learn basic component identification skills.
• Ability to perform simple tasks utilizing work instructions.
• Abilities to read and follow detailed assembly instructions.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials for accuracy and report discrepancies.
• Pick, stage, and deliver materials to production areas to support manufacturing schedules.
• Process material transactions and maintain accurate inventory records in the business system.
• Handle, store, label, and distribute materials safely while ensuring inventory accuracy and FIFO compliance.
• Perform cycle counts and maintain organized, clean storage areas.
• Package and prepare products for shipment, including custom packaging, while maintaining required documentation, records, and safety standards.
