Job summary

The Cutting Technician at Heico in Vista, CA will mark, reproduce, and assemble material kits while becoming proficient in Patternsmith and the Gerber Machine. You will support the AERO CUTTING department and help ensure timely production while maintaining high quality and minimal waste.

Qualifications

• U.S. Person status required due to export control.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years of related experience.
• Proficiency with Patternsmith preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail while producing accurate high-quality work.
• Team player in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Capable of standing for extended periods.
• Experience interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Availability for periodic mandatory weekends and overtime.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Acrobat).

Position Summary:

The Cutting Technician will be responsible for marking, reproducing, and assembling material kits. Additionally, this position requires that the technician become proficient in Patternsmith and the Gerber Machine.
