Job summary

Nammo Defense Systems-SLC is seeking a Materials Control Associate to receive and distribute materials, verify counts, and ensure proper packaging and documentation. You will process shipments, maintain inventory accuracy, and assist in stocking and cycle counting in a 1st shift (Mon-Thu 6:00 AM–4:30 PM) environment.

The role supports the Material Control Lead in efficient operations, including processing exports and organizing materials for production.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Basic math operations including sums, differences, and percents.

Responsibilities

• Verify part counts and ensure packaging per work instructions.
• Process shipments and electronically record receipts in the system.
• Prepare packing lists and bills of lading; assist in return processing.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in the Material Control lead.
• Assist in stocking, distribution, and cycle counting.
• Attend department meetings and support 5S improvements.
