Job summary

The Opportunity

The Material Handler position will provide onsite logistical and building maintenance support. The Material Handler must have good customer service skills. Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft software, will support the successful candidate. The ability to work independently and be a responsible self-starter is essential for success in this position.

• Banding and Securing Materials: Understanding of secure packaging techniques and safety standards


• Forklift Operation: Certification requirements and safety rules


• Emergency Restoration Support: Basic understanding of utility restoration needs during outages


• Workplace Safety Awareness: Knowledge of OSHA regulations, PPE standards


• Communication: Understanding of workplace communication channels and expectations


• Manual Labor: Knowledge of physical demands and safety measures for lifting/moving

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)


• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft software


• Forklift Certified


• Willingness to learn


• Must be able to work overtime as necessary

Fast-paced stockroom environment and requires regular physical activity, including frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting materials, and occasional use of forklift equipment.
