Job summary

Vale Matcha is seeking a Matcha Ambassador to join their team in Seattle. The role involves preparing matcha beverages accurately, providing top-tier customer service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic about matcha, detail-oriented, and possess strong hospitality skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 60 lbs for Matcha Bar.
• Availability for mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• An interest in matcha, tea culture, or wellness.
• Be at least 18 years of age at time of application.
• (Preferred) Previous barista or food service experience preferred (but not required)
• (Preferred) Social media and content creation experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ceremonial-grade matcha, coffee, and other beverages with accuracy, care, and consistency.
• Create a haven for matcha lovers with warm and enthusiastic service.
• Maintain health, safety, and Vale standards for a clean bar space.
• Represent the Vale brand positively.
• Be a part of a team that treats coworkers with kindness and respect.
