Job summary

The Arlington Heights Park District is seeking a certified Mat Pilates Instructor to lead engaging mat Pilates classes and help participants build strength, flexibility, and confidence. The position begins November 7 and currently includes Saturdays from 11:00 AM–12:00 PM (approximately 1 hour per week), with the possibility of adding additional weekday hours as the program grows.

A current Mat Pilates certification is required.

Qualifications

• Current Mat Pilates certification is required.
• CPR and AED certification may be required within six months of employment.
• Minimum one to two years of experience leading fitness, exercise, or conditioning programs.
• Scheduled Saturdays from 11:00 AM–12:00 PM; potential for additional weekday hours as the program grows.

Responsibilities

• Create safe, effective, and engaging mat Pilates classes.
• Lead participants through planned routines ensuring proper breathing techniques.
• Take attendance, maintain class lists, and ensure a clean class environment.
• Provide modifications for different fitness levels and ensure participant safety.
