The Fitness Factory Group LLC is seeking an energetic Mat Pilates Instructor to join our team in New York, NY. Lead engaging mat Pilates classes, design sequences, and guide clients toward their goals within a supportive community.

This role requires certification and CPR/AED, with a focus on safety, client relationships, and ongoing professional growth in a dynamic studio environment.

Qualifications

• Certified Mat Pilates Instructor certification or equivalent.
• CPR/AED certification required or obtainable on hire.
• Prior experience teaching group mat Pilates classes preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and movement principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead mat Pilates classes for clients of varying skill levels.
• Design class sequences aligned with Pilates principles and client goals.
• Provide cueing, modifications, and corrections for proper form and injury prevention.
• Build strong client relationships and foster an inclusive studio environment.
• Track client progress and adapt instruction to individual needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized class space per studio standards.
• Stay current with Pilates trends and continuing education.

Responsibilities:

• Lead engaging and effective mat Pilates classes for clients of varying skill levels
• Design and sequence class programming that aligns with Pilates principles and client goals
• Provide hands‑on cueing, modifications, and corrections to ensure proper form and injury prevention
• Build strong client relationships and foster a welcoming, inclusive studio environment
• Track client progress and adapt instruction to meet individual needs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized class space in accordance with studio standards
• Stay current with Pilates trends, techniques, and continuing education opportunities

Requirements:

• Certified Mat Pilates Instructor (PMA, STOTT, BASI, or equivalent certification preferred)
• CPR/AED certification required or ability to obtain upon hire
• Prior experience teaching group mat Pilates classes strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, movement principles, and injury modifications
• Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional with a client‑first mindset
• Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, and weekends
