Job summary

Cintas Corporation in Suwanee, GA is hiring a Mat Builder to assemble industrial mats from carpet and rubber using molds and presses. You will monitor base sheets and ensure on-time setup for each run.

You’ll work on a fast-paced line, communicate clearly with teammates, lift materials up to 20 lbs, and keep the work area clean while meeting quality standards. This full-time, 1st shift position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for skills development within the Global Supply Chain

• Lift, carry or maneuver product weighing 20+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect rubber and carpet placement on the mold and make sure no delays on the line.
• Communicate to the CEO any issues related to the building process and make adjustments to ensure the product meets the spec.
• When automation is not used on the line, lay base sheets of rubber onto molds, lay carpet on base sheets and apply rubber edge strips to carpet and base sheet. Add top and back customer labels, RFID chips.
• Prepare molds for the next run.
• Complete transactions from POET screen for orders on the schedule and ensure CEO is inform for all system issues when present.
• Keep area neat and clean.

Job Description

Cintas is seeking a Mat Builder. The Mat Builder will be using carpet and rubber materials to assemble a variety of industrial mats. Monitoring placement of rubber base sheets and cut carpet onto molds, and building mat prior to entering press for curing. Mats are built by manufacturing standards and customer requirements.
