Job summary

GE Vernova invites applications for Summer 2027 Research Internships in its Advanced Research division at the Niskayuna, NY site. Interns join a pipeline program designed to develop early-career researchers in multiple disciplines across mechanical, electrical, materials, chemistry and computer science.

Successful interns will work on real-world industrial research problems, gain hands-on experience, and participate in professional development and networking activities within a collaborative GE

Qualifications

• Current or upcoming enrollment in a full-time Masters Degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Chemistry or related STEM discipline from an accredited university or college.
• A passion for research and development, critical thinking, scientific reasoning, data analytics and interpretation and teamwork.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
