Job summary

LeClaire Manufacturing Co. in Bettendorf, IA is seeking an Applications Engineer with Mastercam expertise to drive multi-axis programming on high-end CNC equipment.

You will own toolpaths end-to-end—from office to on-machine verification—taking initiative and improving processes along the way. This on-site, first-shift role offers a competitive wage based on experience, with a full benefits package including health coverage, PTO, and retirement plan.

Qualifications

• Strong Mastercam skills, ideally including multi-axis and post-processor work.
• Self-starter who owns a part from model to finished, validated program.
• Hands-on, prove-it-yourself mentality at the machine.

Responsibilities

• Develop efficient, reliable Mastercam toolpaths for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis work.
• Build and verify post processors, simulations, and toolpath strategies for complex geometry.
• Prove out your own programs at the machine, then hand off to operators.
• Optimize cycle times, surface finish, and tool life through CAM strategy.
• Partner with engineering and quality to nail first-article and production parts.
• Push continuous improvement in our programming and setup standards.
