Job summary

Kendall Auto Group is seeking an experienced Certified Volkswagen Technician to join our Bend, Oregon service department. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair a wide range of VW vehicles, performing adjustments, calibrations, and parts replacements to meet Kendall and manufacturer standards.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of previous Volkswagen technician experience at a dealership.
• Certifications: Current Volkswagen certifications are preferred.
• Vehicle Knowledge: Must have the ability to work on a wide variety of Volkswagen vehicles with both automatic and manual transmissions.
• Licensing: Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform physical tasks, including lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, squatting, and kneeling. Ability to lift up to 100 pounds is occasionally required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and identify vehicle issues.
• Perform adjustments, calibrations, and replenishing fluids.
• Disassemble and reassemble vehicle components.
• Repair or replace parts, using independent judgment when necessary.
• Road test vehicles to ensure quality of work and resolve any remaining issues.
• Document work completed and track time per manufacturer and Kendall policies.
