Formación

• 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Automotive technical training as required.
• Valid in-state driver’s license with safe driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance as per repair orders.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform authorized repairs.
• Conduct multi-point inspections for vehicle reliability.
• Document work performed on repair orders.
• Maintain personal inventory of necessary tools.
• Participate in factory training as necessary.

The Master Technician performs vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards and builds customer loyalty by developing trust and ensuring confidence in AutoNation as a care‑giver for their vehicle safety and reliability.

Pay is $36.00 per flat hour with advancement potential.

Day‑to‑day responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards, to drive customer loyalty.
• Communicate with the Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repair, if authorized by the customer.
• Conduct multi‑point inspections to make appropriate recommendations to ensure the safety and reliability of customer vehicles.
• Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
• Maintain an inventory of normal technician tools not normally inventoried by the service department as “special tools.”
• Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins and participate in factory‑sponsored training classes as appropriate.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.

Requirements for this job

• 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Automotive technical training (varies based on store needs).
• Attention to detail.
• Organization and follow‑up skills.
• Valid in‑state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record.
