Job summary

Precision Tune Auto Care is seeking an experienced Master Automotive Technician who enjoys solving difficult problems and delivering quality workmanship. In a clean, professional environment you will diagnose and repair today's vehicle systems while leading the technical team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years professional automotive repair experience.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with electrical diagnostics and drivability repairs.
• EPA Section 609 Air Conditioning Certification required.
• ASE Master Technician Certification (A1-A8) preferred.
• State Inspection License (where applicable).
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening.

• Mentor and assist fellow technicians with advanced diagnostics and repair procedures
• Communicate inspection findings and repair recommendations with service advisors
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety and environmental procedures

What You’ll Do

As a Master Technician, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing today's complex vehicle systems while helping lead the technical team.

• Diagnose and repair engine performance concerns

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry 50 pounds or more


• Stand, bend, kneel, crouch and reach throughout the workday


• Safely operate customer vehicles and shop equipment


• Work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures


• Work around automotive chemicals and moving mechanical equipment
