Wiygul Automotive Clinic, a family-owned auto service provider in the DC area, seeks a Master Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles at our Fort Washington, MD location. You will handle engine, transmission, steering and more, while communicating status to the Service Advisor and delivering timely repair estimates.

Ideal candidates have Master ASE Certification, broad experience across services, and a commitment to accuracy, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Mansioni

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Relay information to Service Advisor to keep customers informed of status.
• Provide a timely and comprehensive estimate of repair time.
• Perform work per repair order with accuracy and efficiency, following standards.
• Perform multi-point inspections on each vehicle.

The highly desired Master Technician role is a career opportunity that is ideal for Superheroes who are at the top of their trade and seeking the ideal mix of opportunity and work/life balance. These individuals enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where opportunities are limitless (think over 1,000 cars per month!) and their skills and expertise are regularly and adequately rewarded ($50+ an hour flat rate).

Job Duties

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles systems including engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Use power of communication to regularly, effectively, and directly relay information to Service Advisor in order to keep customers informed of their vehicle status
• Provide a timely and comprehensive estimate of time needed for repairs
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy while ensuring alignment with all state and manufacturer standards
• Perform multi-point inspection on each vehicle

Minimum Qualifications

• Broad experience in all areas of automotive service & repair
• Positive and friendly attitude
• Dependable
• Clean and valid Driver's License
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Process and detail oriented
• Ambitious with a desire to learn and grow

Ideal Qualifications

• Master ASE Certification
• Automotive technician experience or equivalent education
