Conrad’s Tire Express And Total Car Care in Canton, MI is seeking a Master Technician to provide diagnostic expertise, perform complex repairs, and guide other technicians. You will handle advanced systems and ensure quality, safety, and efficiency in a fast-paced shop.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in automotive repair, ASE Master Technician certification, and strong knowledge of emission controls, engine management, and electrical systems.

• Certified Master Technician with advanced knowledge and skills in automotive maintenance, removal, replacement, and diagnostics.
• ASE Certifications in applicable areas such as suspension/steering, brakes, HVAC, engine repair, electrical/electronic systems.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently, exceeding customer expectations.
• Train and mentor service department team members in vehicle maintenance and repair responsibilities.
• Assist location managers with daily operations, including pricing work orders, requisitioning parts, shop organization, and supervising other service department members.
• Perform duties of all Technician roles as needed and provide support to other team members when business demands.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and operate machinery, equipment, and tools safely.
• Operate diagnostic and repair equipment, including scan tools, DSO, smoke machines, and other tools required for service work.
• Maintain personal and company-provided tools necessary to perform job duties effectively.

We areseeking a Master Technician to serve as a consultant for diagnostic work, vehicle repairs, and service procedures. The Master Technician provides technicalexpertise, leadership, and guidance to other members of the service department, ensuring high-quality work and efficient operations.The ideal candidate willdemonstratecore behaviors, including drive, a desire to learn, speed of execution, attention to detail, reliability, all of which contribute to delivering the exceptional service our customers expect.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Diagnose and repair vehicles accurately, efficiently, and with a level of quality that exceeds customer expectations.
• Perform advanced removal, replacement, and diagnostic work on a wide range of systems,includingemission control, throttle body injection, computerized electrical and ignition systems, anti-lock brakes, cruise control, drivability issues, auto transmissions, A/C systems, and four-wheel drive components.
• Train and mentor service department team members in vehicle maintenance and repair responsibilities.
• Assistlocation managers with daily operations, including pricing work orders, requisitioning parts, shop organization, and supervising other service department members.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

• Minimum of 5years of experience in automotive repair.
• Certified Master Technician with advanced knowledge and skills in automotive maintenance, removal, replacement, and diagnostics.
• ASE Certifications in one or more of the following areas:Suspension&Steering,Brakes,Heating & Air Conditioning,Refrigerant Recovery & Recycling,Engine Repair,Electrical/Electronic Systems,Engine Performance,Auto Advanced Engine Performance,Automatic Transmission/Transaxle,Manual Drive Train & Axles.
