Job summary

Suitsupply in Orlando is seeking a skilled Tailor to deliver expert alterations for men’s suits, shirts, coats, and more. You will collaborate with store teams to ensure proper sizing and maintain a well-organized tailor shop, delivering precise alterations and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

Previous experience in garment alterations, preferably men’s tailoring or formalwear.
Proficient in sewing techniques and the use of basic tailoring equipment and machines.
Strong understanding of fabrics, garment construction, and color perception.

Responsibilities

Perform expert alterations on men’s suits, shirts, coats, blazers, and trousers, including shortening/lengthening sleeves, tapering sides, lowering collars, adjusting trouser waist, and altering trouser length, thighs, and foot widths.
Accurately mark garments and ensure all alterations meet high standards for fit and finish.
Collaborate with sales associates to ensure proper sizing and garment recommendations for customers.
Maintain a clean, organized tailor shop, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
Provide high-level customer service by delivering timely and precise alterations, contributing to an elevated in-store experience.
