Job summary

Ulta Beauty Master Stylist is responsible for engaging with guests, consulting on hair care needs and recommending products and services. The role focuses on delivering high-quality professional services with an emphasis on guest satisfaction, sales, and productivity.

The position requires a passion for the beauty industry, excellent guest service, and the ability to learn and communicate product knowledge. Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with latest salon techniques for performing haircutting, haircolor, lightening, styling, texture, treatment, extensions, makeup, and ear piercing services (where applicable) and/or an aptitude to develop skills and capabilities in all service categories.

Responsibilities

• Perform hair services including design, cuts, color, texture, styling, updos, keratin treatments, and extensions as applicable.
• Meet or exceed sales goals for hair services and contribute to store goals in retail and service sales.
• Demonstrate and sell pro hair care and makeup products to guests.
• Develop guest relationships through consultations and personalized recommendations.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures and state guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and operational standards of salon and surrounding areas.
