Job summary

Ulta Beauty in Gilroy, CA is seeking a Master Stylist to deliver premium hair services and consult with guests on a total-look experience. You will drive guest satisfaction through personalized service, product recommendations, and collaborative work with the Experience Manager and salon team.

The role requires strong guest service, sales acumen, and ongoing learning of the latest techniques in haircutting, coloring, styling and make-up. Flexible schedule a must.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with latest salon techniques for performing haircutting, haircolor, lightening, styling, texture, treatment, extensions, makeup, and ear piercing services.
• Ability to use equipment and chemicals needed for technical work.
• Ability to demonstrate, recommend, and sell pro hair care and makeup products.
• Developed communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships, and build clientele.

Responsibilities

• Engage with guests, consult on hair care needs, and recommend products and services.
• Deliver quality professional services with emphasis on total look.
• Meet sales and productivity goals for hair services.
• Demonstrate and drive product demonstrations to guests.
