You must have a Cosmetology license, enjoy working with customers, and stay current with beauty trends and services. Flexible scheduling and ongoing trainings are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license is required.
• Previous relevant work experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform hair services including design, cuts, color, texture, styling, extensions, makeup, and ear piercing where applicable.
• Meet or exceed a weekly sales and productivity goal for hair services while delivering exceptional guest service.
• Perform product demonstrations to drive sales and guest experience.
• Support in-store events and promotions to enhance guest experience.
• Stay informed about industry trends, ingredients, and benefits to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
• Develop guest relationships through consultations and appropriate recommendations.
• Serve all guests, including walk-ins, efficiently.
• Collaborate with skin therapists and retail team for a total-store guest experience.
• Foster professional relationships with peers and brand partners to improve guest experience.
• Promote guest loyalty program benefits to guests in salon and salesfloor.
• Attend trainings for professional development.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures and state board guidelines.
• Follow service protocols to ensure consistent guest experiences.
• Use booking and clientele systems for return visits and events.
• Communicate supply needs to Experience Manager to ensure guest readiness.
• Maintain cleanliness of salon, sales floor, restrooms, backroom and other areas.
• Adhere to Ulta Beauty dress code.
