Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking an Elite Stylist to engage with guests, consult on hair care needs, and recommend products and services. You will deliver quality professional services with a focus on the guest’s total look, supporting the Experience Manager and ASM, and aiming to meet sales and productivity targets.

The role requires a cosmetology license, prior experience, and the ability to perform a wide range of hair and make-up services while maintaining high standards of guest care and store

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license required.
• Previous relevant work experience is required.
• Proficiency with latest salon techniques for performing haircutting, haircolor, lightening, styling, texture, treatment, extensions, makeup and brow services and ear piercing where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform hair services including hair design, haircuts, color, texture, hair treatments, styling, updos, perms, blowouts, keratin treatments, extensions, makeup applications, brow services and ear piercing where applicable.
• Meet or exceed sales goal of average weekly sales and productivity goals for hair services by delivering exceptional guest service and contribute to meeting store goals related to retail and service sales.
• Develop guest relationships through consultations and appropriate retail and service recommendations.
• Be knowledgeable of and ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty’s policies, procedures, and standards.
