Job summary

Ron Carter Ford is seeking a Master Service Technician with strong diagnostic and repair skills to join our busy Texas service team. Ford experience is preferred but not required; experience with multiple brands is welcome.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of automotive repair experience preferred.
• ASE Master Certification preferred.
• Ford certifications and experience preferred but not required.
• Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with scan tools, diagnostic software, and modern vehicle systems.
• Ability to repair gasoline, diesel, hybrid, and advanced vehicle systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns.
• Perform repairs and maintenance according to manufacturer specifications and dealership standards.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and technology to identify vehicle issues accurately.
• Complete warranty, customer-pay, and internal repair orders efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all diagnostic procedures and repairs performed.
• Assist and mentor other technicians when needed.
• Perform quality control inspections to ensure repairs are completed correctly the first time.
• Stay current with manufacturer training, technical service bulletins, and emerging automotive technologies.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Adhere to all dealership policies, safety procedures, and compliance requirements.
